Policies of Legacy Training Center

Early Cancellation Policy

Legacy Training will allow cancellations with full refund up to 72 hours prior to course. 

Cancellation  between 72 - 48 hours 25% of course fee will be retained or charged. 

Cancellation between 48 - 24 hours 50 % of course fee will be retained or charged.

Less than 24 hours and No Shows 100% of course fee will be retained or charged.

Attendance and Absence Policy

Attendance during class is required. Absence due to family emergency or illness can be made up following the guidelines of the State of Iowa. Known conflicts can be discussed with Legacy Training and Education Center prior to course.

Weather Policy / Low Participation or Instructor Cancellation Refund Policy

In the event of inclement weather class time will be made up within a specified period of time.
Classes may be cancelled due to low participation. A full refund will be given or if student chooses, they may apply credit for make-up class or in the amount for another future class.

In the event of cancellation by an instructor, a full refund will be issued. Student may have the option of choosing another course. Legacy Training and Education Center reserves the right to substitute accredited instructors for another. 

Online Course Procedures 

Online classes when offered will follow guidelines of the State of Iowa for Online Education. 
Most Classes will take place via Zoom Video conference:

Guidelines for Zoom CEU’s 

  • If you have never participated in a class or meeting using an online platform such as Zoom, please take some time to familiarize yourself with Zoom. Here is a link to tutorials https://bit.ly/3jwIW5l 

  • Locate your video and microphone controls are and know where the chat box is located. 

  • FULL TIME attendance is REQUIRED for the entire course in order to receive a certificate of completion.

    You will need to maintain audio and visual contact with the instructor throughout the entire course(s)

    Please be seated and on video for the entire CEU: not multi-tasking.

When you join, please make sure to do the following:

Change your display name to indicate your actual name.

Mute your microphone

Enter the following into the chat:

     Name
     Email address
     Address you want on your certificate

Advance Registration

Advance registration for all classes is strongly recommended to ensure space and materials are available.
In some cases registering at the door will be allowed, but if space/materials aren't in enough supply, potential student may be turned away.
